Forty Hall Museum
Forty Hall is a Grade 1 listed Jacobean Manor House, nestled in leafy Enfield and set amidst pleasure gardens, ancient royal parkland, majestic trees, lakes and watercourses.
A venture in to the Hall promises to delight and impress. Our permanent exhibition tells the story of Forty Hall & Estate throughout the ages and looks at the life and times of Sir Nicholas Rainton and life in the seventeenth century. With a range of visual and audio interpretation and displays there are ample ways for all of the family to engage with learning about the Hall in an enjoyable way.
A range of guided tours are also on offer at the Hall, led by a Jacobean character, to add value to your visit and further your understanding of the Hall’s history. With tours that focus on Sir Nicholas Rainton, the Hall’s stunning architecture and the story of Forty Hall & Estate there are plenty to choose from with a tour specially devised for children coming soon!
